Valley of Flowers
Valley of Flowers is a national park located high in the Himalayas of Uttaranchal, at an altitude of 3600 meters above sea level, protected by the snow-covered mountains. Unknown to humans for centuries, this charming valley lay frozen during the winter, and broke into his young beauty each year, as the snow melted with the onset of summer. Each year, the valley has been splashed on color as it bloomed with hundreds of kinds of flowers, taking on different shades of colors months progressed. Most flowers have medicinal values. The abundance of Asmanda fern in this valley is a rare sight in other valleys of the Himalayas. The rest is the valley of flowering for three months, while the composition looral keeps on changing every few days. Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuaries
