About West India
West India or the western part of India is a region encompassing the states of Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra and the union territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The region is highly industrialised with major industries of india and has got a large urban population. Most parts of the western India was part of the Maratha Empire and Mughal Empire before colonisation by the British. The regions have become parts of India on independence. States are roughly bounded in North West by Thar desert, the Vindhya region in the north and the Sea of Oman in the East part. A large part of western India shares the Deccan Plateau with the southern part of india or south india.
Gujrath
 Gujarat is a state located in the western part of India. Gujrath shares its border with the neighbouring country pakistan to the north west and to the state of Rajasthan to the north and northeast, Madhya Pradesh to the east, Maharashtra to the south. Gujarat is one the state in india which has got long cosat line. The Arabian Sea makes up the state's western coast. Its capital, Gandhinagar is a planned city and is located near Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is the the commercial capital of Gujarat. Looking with perspective of a traveller to gujarath there are lots of things to see and experience in the state. Sights includes some unique mosques and Sabarmati Ashram. Gujarat's heart throbing beach is well endowed with the location named Ahmedpur Mandvi whose chief attraction is the ethnic beach resort and Dwarka, the the holy centre of hindus.
Maharashtra
 Maharashtra is located on the western part of the country with the Arabian Sea on its western coast. It is the third largest state in India area-wise and its capital is Mumbai, which is one of the most important city and the commercial capital of india. Maharashtra has a highly developed economy and is a wonderful place for spending one's holidays. There are many things which are unique to the state that attracts tourists from around the world. Nature has blessed it with the Western Ghats and Sahyadri Ranges that encompass some of the best hill stations and eco-tourism spots of the state.
Goa
 When one think about goa the first thing that come to mind is the beautiful beaches. Goa a is one of the place in indian where tourists are there for the whole year. In the earlier days goa was a portuguese colony and later it has been added to india. The remnants of the past portuguese rule is still visible in many parts of the state. Goa, a tiny emerald land on the west coast of India, a place of sun sand and see, squeezed between the seas and the lush forested hills. It offers glistening sands, swaying coconut palms, and ultra fresh seafood. with its natural scenic beauty, abundant greenery, attractive beaches and temples, churches & even mosques with a distinctive style of architecture, colorful and lively feasts, festivals& above all, hospitable people with a rich cultural milieu, has an ideal tourist profile. Goa is locatedon the western coast of india and shares its border with Kanataka and Maharashtra.
